Thursday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Friday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
Saturday Available approximately once per month.
What to expect:
The purpose of the initial appointment is to determine the nature of your problem and provide treatment as appropriate. This involves taking a detailed case history and an examination. For children we provide a questionnaire for completion prior to the initial appointment.
What to wear:
We normally need patients to undress to their underwear at this stage. Shorts may be worn if preferred. If we believe further investigations are required from other medical practitioners then we will explain this to you. Follow up appointments may be required to provide further treatment. We take great care to make sure that patients understand the diagnosis and the treatment plan that we propose.
Covid
The practice has an infection control protocol in place to reduce transmission of Covid and other respiratory illnesses. This is in line with recommendations published by the Institute of Osteopathy and the UK Health Security Agency. The treatment room is sanitised between patients, and we will always wear a mask during treatments. We ask patients to wear a mask at all times unless exempt and we screen patients for Covid symptoms and raised temperature.
